Jake Guell, CPDT

Jake Guell, CPDT studied clinical psychology at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, a graduate of Animal Behavior College, a Registered AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and Board Certified through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT). He has twelve years of dedicated canine training experience including therapy dog training, service dog training, canine sport training, clicker training, advanced obedience training, trick training and behavior modification. His extracurricular activities include visiting hospitals with his therapy dog Onyx, competing with Onyx in Dockdogs, boating, four wheeling, golfing and going to sporting events. Jake enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and daughter during his free time.

Amanda

Amanda has been actively involved with Tails for Life since her husband Jake established the non-profit organization in 2013 and joined the team full time in July of 2016.

Amanda is our daycare manager and a lead dog trainer.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, loves horse back riding, fishing, boating on Green Lake and loves her 3 dogs Rawlie, Harvie and Kipp.

Gail

Gail started as a puppy raiser for Tails for Life in 2016. When she retired from her full time job

in April of 2019 she knew she wanted to work with Jake and Amanda to help make a difference.

Gail joined our team in 2019 as a dog trainer and day care coordinator.

Gail enjoys spending time with her family including her two dogs Cinder and Maui. She enjoys her granddaughters, game nights, horseback riding, camping and hiking.
